Ripe Wilburn you are a gentleman thanks :p

There you have it, I'm only just returning from a well-deserved vacation, and already I'm completely clueless:O_o: about running gags about spelling and about coats, the return of Jack Smith:thumbsup:, recurrent tracks for a whole month, and loads of unfamiliar names (to me) in the signup list. Really, I haven't been gone THAT long?!?

But seriously, it's nice to see more new faces in the GTL Club, hope you guys enjoyed it all! And really nice to see everyone's laptimes so close to one another!

For me this was the first time around Zolder in a looooong time, and in either car as well. That nor my usual unpreparedness stopped me from having some good fun though!:)
I could still manage mid-pack laptimes in both Q1 and Q2, but wasn't chuffed about being the slowest Cortina in Q2  (besides René who didn't get a time in.)
Both races were quite good too, I had cars around me all along and actually managed P4 in Race 1. In Race 2 I was even on podium pace for a while (I swear I didn't touch you when you spun Warren!) until a gentle tap from behind set me back.. had a bit lonely 2nd half to finish 7th.

All in all it was very nice to be back, although my attendance may be limited in the upcoming weeks. I thoroughly enjoyed doing both races last night, but this morning it really did hurt.. I had to get up at GMT03:30 but didn't wake up until GMT04:00.:sleep: Oops...:D
Thanks Rupe and all fellow racers for these nice races. Hope to CYA soon.

a couple of questions asked on tspeak tonight form the new guys
this is were the info is
(Car&tracks unlock) we all use this one
(XD motec) very handy bit of kit
FFB GUIDE : and ( how ffb works)
Pit stop hints How to make a manual pitstop.. have full controll of your car after the race
Really important for our endurance races

Replays dated - this stops the last session being overwritten but fills up the replay folder more quickly
GTL extra controls

GTL tool keep track of your lap times (External laptime viewer and statistic tool for GTL & GTR2)

all taken from HERE
Hey Rupe, Does XD add a track map to the game? Can't seem to find anything in game. Be nice to see where other cars are on the track.

Not much good to say about my performance because I did myself in in both races but I did enjoy the driving. Had a great battle with Peter in race 1...on his tail for many laps but our times were very similar so I could not squeeze by him at all. Love driving both cars but the Alfa did bite me three times.

TS 'ers were recalling old times and their first several sexual encounters in their cars in their younger days. I did not add my account because in my case I was alone.

Yes good to be back Roland....my back, foot and knee so far are holding up. Surprising as to how much pressure the driving put on those areas. Been seeing a chiropractor which helped immensely.

Cheers to all drivers, thanks to Rupe for the events, grats to podiums

Come on Tuesday
