Ok guys. here it is .. ive posted it early to give time for testing
This is an Endurance event with pit stops

  1. There is no practice time for this event on the night at 19:00 GMT its 30 mins of qually time
  2. Race start at 19:30GMT - its about a 50 min race..
  3. Please take it easy on your opening laps its a long race lets all enjoy the race its just for fun as are all club races..
  4. Fuel is 2x. A pit stop will be required by lap 14.. (depending on how you drive you might make it to the end of that lap..) you need to fill up with fuel to get you to the end.. 120 ltr is a full tank and will get you about 13 laps... pit on lap 12 to be sure or before...
  5. Tyres is 2x. You may be able to make it to the end of the race on a single set of tyres all depends on how you drive..you can stop and change tyres when you refuel.. the choice is yours..both the fronts and rears wear at about the same rate.. by lap 12 i was on 15 % wear and the car was starting to slide and i was loosing about a second or more a lap and some corners the car was sliding when pushing hard... (if you want to be safe change all 4 tyres.) But the choice is yours.. Check how long a pit stop takes with a fuel top up and a change of tyres and way this against how much you loose or could loose per lap...or if you go off track..
  6. Please don't discuss lap times but feel free to talk about the time spent in the pits and time lost due to this.
  7. feel free to post your setups.
  8. On the start straight whilst racing: do not drift to far over to the left and join the pits you will get a drive through
  9. On exiting the pits drive the full length of the pits with the limiter on. only joining the track when you have passed the traffic lights..
  10. Saturday 27th April will be a official practice night if any body is interested. (reply in post also for practice)
  11. here is how to alter your plr file for the pits stops ( Click me ) pit stop hints provided by Warren Dawes:thumbsup:
  12. XD is very useful for this event (Click me )
Big thanks to Hans Sneep, Knut Omdal Tveito for helping in the testing and setting up of the event..
Any question just ask

Bummer!!!! (and several other curses)
I'm heading off to the Aussie outback on the 24th for about two weeks, so I can't make this one. :(
Would love to have joined, it should be a cracker.

Oh well, good luck all and enjoy "The Mountain". :)

We will have more of these events Warren..
We wanted to do this before Piddy so all the league drivers could have a chance at a longer event with a pit stop:)

Any one who want to have a private test of the above event you can do this with your own D/sever
In order to test the tyre and fuel multiplyier you need to set up a dediserver for yourself.. this is found in the main gtl folder and very easy to do
  1. fire up dedi server (run as ADMIN)
  2. 1st page
  3. chose FIA-TC-65
  4. choose car Ford falcon in allowed vehicles
  5. click next
  6. 2nd Page
  7. select 67 Panorama in selected events
  8. tick broadcast in lobby
  9. connection type custom
  10. 5 cars is enough
  11. click next
  12. 3rd page
  13. create name
  14. creat password
  15. black flag
  16. failures normal
  17. (tyre wear and fuel wear ore the wrong way round its a known fault with the server.)
  18. change Fuel Use to 2x (this will give you 2x tyre wear)
  19. change Tyre Use to 2x (this will give you 2x fuel use)
  20. Diffuculty pro
  21. auto clucth
  22. sessions choose what you want
  23. start time of race 1300 hours (this is the time of day the race will start not the practice and qually)
  24. PRESS START
  25. fire up gtlegends and find the server just like you do for a club race.
  26. you may need the ports open in your firewall to be able to connect.

Thanks to Neil Gault you can adjust your PLR file to replicate the fuel and tyre wear.. but first back up the original before adjust it . found here\GTlegends\UserData\your name. srcoll down to [ Game Options ]
If you are unsure what you are doing dont do this!! ..you dont want to mess up the plr file
change the 1 to a 2 and test it out.
dont forget to change it back again:)

I adjusted my plr file to allow manual pit-stop, Everything works, but noticed that the "pit in request" and "GO GO" prompt to leave the pit box does not work?

Philip, the Pitstop procedures in GTL are different to Race 07, those bits don't work in GTL.
Please have a read of our Pitstop tutorial, or you might get caught out by the differences (pay close attention to the use of the pitspeed limiter on exit):
