Crew Chief is Mandatory!

The use of Crew Chief is now mandatory in R3E Club Racing. This is due to the increasing number of avoidable incidents caused by drivers pushing each other off track, largely because of a lack of awareness of their surroundings.

Crew Chief is completely free to download and use and is very easy to install. It's main function is that it acts as a spotter, giving you audio warnings when other cars are alongside. This hugely increases driver awareness and leads to far less "pushing and shoving" type incidents while racing.

It's so simple to download and install, and the benefit to everyone in the race is so great, that there really is no reason not to use it. That's why everyone will now be expected to do so, to increase racing quality for all.

You can download Crew Chief from the link below (S3 forums). If you have any questions about how to use it, please post in the linked thread or ask here in the event thread and I will be happy to assist.

Never tried this track before today, quite like it apart from the first chicane
Yeah, I enjoy this one. It's one of R3E's hidden gems which you barely see anywhere else outside of mods. The selection of under-represented tracks people have never heard of is one of the sim's strengths.

I don't find the first chicane too bad, though we're going to have to go super careful on the first couple of laps to avoid a pile up. So NO DIVE BOMBS please gents! To be honest, better if people just don't try to pass there for the first couple of laps because it will only end in tears.

The bit I find hardest is the run through T15 - T16 - T17. It literally makes or breaks your lap in terms of overall lap time. You need patience and a good line through there, and I tend to lack the former which then ruins the latter. :p Fun track though, and great in these cars.
