Thanks, used this serup on Virgin and I got pole position with it. Shame I then spun out on the last lap and was overtaken by Hamilton, thus losing my second win of the season.

Quick question: does this setup apply to only fully wet tyres or to intermediates as well. If it only applies to the former, is there a seperate set-up needed for inters? I haven't tried it out yet but was just wondering. I suppose this question applies to all tracks too.

Thanks!

Well in time trial it uses inters and ive had no major problems at using my wet setups in the dry either. However since your using fully wet tyres I would presume you are in career mode? If so I cant guarentee this works as ive not got to Japan in my career mode to find out. It will take you through 130R flat out and the S bends in pretty quick time (as long as you dont stuff the beginning up)

Awesome setup...thanks Bram. I just did a 1:33.729 which put me 2nd in the wet time trial. I think with some practice i can get at least half a second off but i dont know if i can take 2 seconds off to catch 1st...
Thanks for a awesome setup...and your dry setup for Suzuka was great too.

great setup just did (career) suzuka (100%) in the wet (55% heavy rain). P&Q sessions were dry but i still used this setup with engine map at standard...

game=PC with joypad. season=2. car=redbull. player level=hard. AI level=legend. TC=full. ABS=on. gears=auto.

P = on prime's 1:36.xxx came 2nd, Q = on options 1:34.xxx got pole (1sec quicker than massa 2nd)

Race; dry start got a best time of 1:33.914 my avg times 1:34.xxx to 1:35.xxx (wet times avg 1:40.xxx to 1:47.xxx on full wets)

good speed and handling (dry&wet) but turns 1, 8 & 13 was abit slippery rear sliding out (might go +1 to rear wing next time) also had to turn engine down to (cruise) for better exits 3rd of way into race (had a 30sec gap by then), went back to (standard engine map) when rain was getting lighter. finish 1st with a 6sec lead

Is it just me or is the AI really quick on this track in the wet? I went with bram's dry set up for practice and quali'd 4th but the race had 24% chance of rain, and it was a wet start so I upped the downforce to like 6 and made the car a bit less stiff. I also put the brakes on med. pressure, engine on cruise and tried my best to be easy on the triggers (using a 360 controller) but I couldn't seem to slow down or speed up before and after the hairpin and chicane.

While I was better through the s's and 130r and spoon curve than the AI by a lot, they seemed to have WAY more grip/control than I could even imagine through the slow sections. I think maybe more downforce would have helped but I feel like I needed the extra aero efficiency once the track dried out. I was easily the fastest car on options in the race, doing 1:33's by the last few laps, but still could only finish 4th (top 3 had pulled out a 20 sec lead in the wet)

I wonder if it's my driving or my set up?

Its your setup, more downforce wont do much because its used in the medium/high speed corners, all the slow corners need the mechanical grip, personally I wouldnt have changed the setup from what you were used to.
