I also used it in a 50% league race yesterday evening and got pole with a 1.33.7xx. Tyres lasted ok too, pitting on lap 12 for primes.

Notes
1.35.400 in Time Trial. Once again I'm not the greatest driver in the world so somebody will probably get a better lap :p

Managed to crack 1:33 times with this, much more satisfying setup on frontend than previous setups (including the 8/4 configuration previously posted in this thread).

More tweaking required to find optimum front wing angle, gearing and brake balance (pretty much tossed a coin on gear ratios and picked using educated guesses) but the setup made driving much more satisfying. Not quite as much crazy understeer as before!

Still valiantly trying to figure out how to get to 1:32 though...

Notes
I don't have my wheel here, so this has been driven using the T500RS GT rim. It's slower than usual, I just can't drive properly without my F1 rim. My time was pretty bad but not because of the setup itself, the car was great but my wheel just didn't feel right. Goung through the R130 @ 323 kph was pretty nice, tho. :)

| Career and Multiplayer setup! |

Hey guys,
I saw some other setups of you guys, very nice! :)
This one is for the Multiplayer and the race in career of Suzuka. (Dry)
- I play always on Legend. 25% races.

Every single detail can better. But this is not a TT setup. so everyone knows that your tires wear out, so maybe is this really fine for people who are don't know how to make a good setup for multiplayer and career. :)
So I know every car in career is different but if you have some trouble with this setup you can improve with some of the settings. Much oversteer? Change your rear anti roll bar. Trouble with top speed? Change your front and rear wing and your gearbox of course. etc.. etc.. :)
So good luck! And hope you like the setup. :D

I Know if your using a TT setup you will just get stuck with the gearbox, which not give you enough top speed without DRS.

Notes: 1:39.369 using a XB gampad with ABS and TC on. Time set in q3 on primes so should be able to do better on options. Lap wasen't perfect either. Will rev limit on the main strait and into 130r because i didn't want to compromise race performance too much. Has a good feeling though the corners maybe unloding the inside front to much under cornering but it doesent seem to be too much of a problem. Didn't try 130r on options with DRS open so idk if it is possible, i shut it on primes before turn in and opened after.

I wanted to post my setup too... Then I took an arrow in the knee and decided not to do it.

Well, I just realized I suck at setting up the car myself, so I've decided to make 5 laps of each setup posted here and write my results and impressions driving a McLaren in TT. I use the X360 pad and all assists on. All laps will be done without using DRS and KERS.

1 - Marmite: 1:34.440, even if the guy hasn't edited the gearbox, it's a fantastic setup; the car is incredibly fast and as manageable as can be. I improved my best lap three times out of 5 attempts. I also believe I could come close to 1:34.0 if I made more laps.

2 - mouta21: 1:34.870, pure awesomeness, the car feels like it's driving on a railroad, it goes exactly where you want it to go. That makes turning incredibly fast, increasing the lap time by far. The only downside is that the car always goes a bit left or right on straights, it's like the wheel is highly sensitive. I felt I could improve my time even more if I drove more than 5 laps.

3 - Dmitry Zaharov first setup: 1:35.083, the car seems both stable and fast enough.

4 - Hyperdix: 1:35.142, a decent setup, nothing special. The car is a bit slow.

5 - Tom Endres: 1:35.191, this setup seems bad to me. The car is very slow and it suffers from understeer too; also, on straights the car goes either right or left.

6 - James Kirk: 1:35.217, the car seems very stable and easy to drive.

7 - Dmitry Zaharov second setup: 1:35.352, I felt like this setup suffers from oversteer and wasn't even fast enough.

8 - brolio: 1:35:414, this setups seems good, the car is very stable. The top gear is too low.

9 - max99: 1:36.266, this setup makes the car way too slow, the maximum speed was 302 kph; and yes, I adapted the gearbox from HRT to the McLaren.

I used Marmite setup for qualifying and race with Marussia, in Q1 I finished 20th, legend AI, very good result. I couldn't complete the race tho, the car is a nightmare in wet conditions. I was stupid not to increase the wing angle values, so if there's a consistent chance of rain you need to do that.

Do not agree with that at least reguarding Tom Endres setup.i did with it a 1:33.7 and likely to get at least 0.3sec in it,with Mouta setup i did a 1:34.1.From the list that a list this 2 setups after my opinion are the best one,but each one has his preference and driving style.
