I did a couple of 5 minute races (starting to get sore) and although the AI pitted I got the results page.
Try to compare first lines of aiw and gdb with gtr2 version

I removed the 156.3503 and I tried another 5 minute race and it seemed to work, the cars pitted but I crossed the line and it was as normal with proper results.

Sadly nothing changed. But I did try some more things and came to some conclusions. Fuel Use and Tire Wear both affect these weird behaviors. No fuel use or tire wear and 7 laps (which is the number of laps they do in Island when there is a 10 minute limit) is perfectly ok. No Fuel Use or tire wear and 10 mins is ok too. With Tire Wear or Fuel Use on and no mandatory pit stops they pit 2-3 mins before the end of the race and in the final lap. Forced pit stop and timing is weird too. With 7 lap race the pit window is open between laps 3-5 and everything is ok. With 10 mins race it's open between laps 1-2 (which means that everyone is pitting on lap 2) and they do the usual extra 2 stops even without tire and fuel running out.

I have both enabled and on the strength of my final race today it seemed to be working.

I don't know if you're testing with full races, but I park next to pitwall and press T to accelerate time. Then I just watch the AI behavior. Saves time and effort :)
 
I tried with WTCC and the 99's and yes they had the same result pitted on the last lap.
With the super tourers, did a race with tyre wear off fuel use on, no joy tried the reverse and got the same result. Since I don't use time accelerate I can just turn both off without it being an issue for me, which is what I assume I must have done previously as I'd never had a problem before. (which is strange because I notice I have changed the fuel load for 15 minute races in the setups and made it my favourite)
I changed a couple of things in the GDB but nothing worked.
 
I finally had the chance to do some testing, and if I set

I think the big error was the first number in "times" that accidentally had been replaced :O_o:

I changed the things you said and tried to race as I did before, with fuel, tire wear and pit stops on. Unfortunately nothing changed.
 
Just want to say I've been having similar issues. Pre-Supertouring 1 cars, 25 mins on the full layout and they pit with 5-8 minutes left on the clock. Races limited to 10 laps are fine.

I'm going to see if I can copy some values from the original Oulton_2005 and get it working.

EDIT: Same result, still not working

How on earth do i install this?
i chased down the og tracks but what do i do? the read me tells you nothing im just baffled
The only og track you need according to the readme I have is Brands 2007, which is not a mod track, it's in the game.

Just Copy the gamedata folder in the zip to the gamedata folder in your install.
