It actually looks like this 'new' conversion is from the old rfactor1 conversion. The driver helmets look like they are taken from that version

Is it http://historicsimracing.123.st/t3407-1996-btcc-rules which seems to have used the rFactor conversion?
Which in turn was converted to AMS http://historicsimracing.123.st/t4006-btcc-1996-rules
And then updated http://historicsimracing.123.st/t4195-1995-adac-super-tourenwagen-cup-rules
Which they then have taken to their new site https://intlsimracingforum.boards.net/thread/123/gases-australian-super-touring-championship

Maybe? Possibly?

Your theory is the best I have for the moment. I have tried to search around for the mod elsewhere but I haven't found anything yet. Anyway the Race 07 version is way ahead of that version now

I have got a message now from the organizer of the race event with the Automonilista conversion.
It seems you were right @Ole Marius Myrvold
Anyway it wasn't done with any bad intentions (of course) so I have given them permission to use it for their fun events, but I don't want it to be released officially. Thanks to everyone for your help and support. I hope the next Race07 version will be out soon
