I hit someone but I wasn't sure who. 2 cars with the same skin got hit. I hit the guy in the middle of the track. The other guy was on the left of track in front of me. I wasn't sure who I hit so I went ahead and left race.

it was my foult that we had to restart joining the grid my game freezed and came up with wired colors o.O again realy sorry :(

Michael, when that graphical glitch happens the "go around" solution is for you to alt-tab out of the game (minimize the game) and a back in (as it resets the frames).

It may take some time to get back into the game (when you alt-tab in), to me the all process (out-in) “costs” about 30 seconds. For instances, in my experience, the 2 times it happened in the middle of RDFOC test events, although I lost full 30 secs with each one, I went to finish both races in 3rd place. Obviously if you have a tighter computer (slower) it can take more time (and even crash), on other hand if you have a faster computer it can be quicker.

Anyway, in that situation I think the things got solved in a satisfactory manner since it was an endurance event and all its implications... the other way was for you to tell us of the problem and try to solve it with the alt-tab thing.

On a side note, as I’ve a high end computer (at least for Evo, very high), my solution so far was to use a special openGL recent driver version and instead of lowering the visual effects, I made sure they were the highest possible (max FPS all the same). :wink2:

...i was just pissed at the circumstances and the way it all changed to "let's start at mulsanne" about 30 seconds before the race session...

No doubt you lack important information regarding this matter... if you look closely to the posts in this same topic and its chronology you will see that the “start after the Mulsanne” wasn't anywhere a “30sec before the race thing". :wink2:

It went until than because people free working for all of us didn't have the time to give it the necessary attention...

Come-on, we all know we were more-or-less in self management mode for this event, it happens, especially when we rely on the free time of others.

To tell you the truce we did a good job of self management and individual initiative. Not only with the way how we solved both start problems as also how we tacitly went against the league club rules and fairly (from my point of view) gave credit where credit was due after the race.

Before this backfires to someone, the people directly responsible by this event (and entire series) had (and have), because of their overall contribution to the club, a big credit on my “personal account”... in short they have room to quite a few “distractions”, a "sorry" was posted in the topic and that is more than sufficient to me.

Btw, 2 things, I know you "free work" too and at the time, I didn't associate your name with a forum moderator (my bad)... if had, I would have turned my head to you for directions, so in a way I'm sorry if you felt “going down a stream” against your will.

Quali: 3rd - my best yet. I even used my own setup, which was more amazing.

1st race: I knew that first turn would be tough because of the crest of the hill on the turn. I slowed down early to give the top 3 room, but that was a mistake, too, as I got pushed off track and lost a wheel. End of my 1st race. Robert, were you waiting for me after that incident? It wasn't your fault, but I appreciate the thought.

2nd race: Starting from the back, but by lap 7 I had moved to 4th. Then in the Bosch curve my screen went black for 33 full seconds! When it came back, I was 11th. Could you guys see my car stopped in place on that turn? Looking at the video, I just stopped for 33 secs and then continued. No other cars came through, but I was in 11th.

Anyway, I enjoyed the car and the track combo. Can't wait for the RD Cat league to start. :wink2:
Thanks to Yves and RD for the event.
