Wow wasn't sure if I'd like the Camero's, but had a gr8 time 2nite.

Qual: 4th

Race 1: 2nd

Got into 2nd from a good clean start passing Yves who I then witnessed having an incident behind me in my mirrors. Gave chase to Gary and stayed within reach for a few laps whilst gradually stretching out a small advantage over 3rd. Once I noticed the guys behind had dropped back suddenly, I backed off a little as I knew I was chasing Gary in vain. Unfortunately backing off caused me to start making silly little errors and made me a little nervy at the end, but kept it all together for a very unexpected result:victory:.

Race 2: 3rd

Starting in 7th I again got away cleanly, but someone got passed a few of us on the right hand side and also Gary was well and trully in there to. I was all over the back of one car and accidentally chopped across Gary's front end(sorry mate), but fortunately he backed out enough to avoid anything more than a trading of paint and it only took him another corner to leave trailing in his wake. I was a little more aggressive than normal on the first lap and found myself chasing Bob Luneski for 3rd. I had an opportunity to get close to him and outbrake him into T3 and he gave me enough room to complete the pass safely(Thanks again Bob).

Then again pushed to get clear of the pack behind and try to keep 1st and 2nd in sight, but I could barely match them lap for lap. Settled into a comfortable pace to run home in 3rd and finish 2nd overall:dance2:.

Thanks everyone out there 2nite for a gr8 bit of racing. We all did well to tame these beasts around the excellent Interlagos circuit.

I'll keep an eye out for the Camero's in future:wink2:.

Had a good first race but ran out of fuel on the last lap lol. But I wasn't alone hehe.
Second race I couldn't stop the car into the first corner and ended up facing the wrong way. Sorry to who ever it was that ran straight into me.
(Edit: just watched the replay it was 2nd lap and victims of my brick wall were Neil and Bjorn sorry guys.)
After that it was more of the same, couldnt get my breaking right. Around lap 7 I was facing the wrong way at the first corner again, with some poor soul heading towards me, so called Scotty for a beam up and pressed Escape.
Was really enjoyable, even if it was a car that I couldn't drive if my life depended on it. Look forward to some more, hopefully I can race better. Thanks to all.
Glad I joined RD.

no problem mate those things happen:) all i saw was a big pile of smoke hahhaha

I can't wait. Love these old cars. :D
