C'mooon! I feel like a total noob here with you guys ignoring me on top of it all. :(
The "REAL F1" rules this season allow for all who make it to Q3 to get the fuel they use up in qually back for the start of the race. So MMG's interpretation was correct. How come Fsone is different? is all I'm asking!?Ramon, I'll wait for your reply.

MMG = 2007
FSone = 2008

I don't know the exact fuel rules for Q3 qualify for 2007/2008/2009.
I know its the starting fuel in qual you also have for the Race in MMG 2007.
It was a surprise for me also in seeing I lost 20L already at the start of the race. Still for me it adds more to the fun.
Maybe someone with F1 rules knowledge can help us out regarding the fuel regulation in 2007/2008. Not that it helps for this mod, we just have to deal with it :)
 
Okay so the qually strategy with this mod would be to calculate first race stint fuel needed (preferably a short stint I'd think) and then add what you feel you'd need to get into a good rythm for two to three quick laps during qually. Obviously coming in for at least one tyre change close to the end of the qually period. Taking into consideration that the average lap is around 1:30 min that would account for an additional 6-9 laps of fuel to do two to three quick runs (incliuding tyre changes) in 10 min qually session.
Sound reasonable, if long winded....!?
 
Qualifying (6th)

Despite running into some traffic on my one and only hot lap, I got a relatively decent lap in. I ended up starting from 6th on the grid with a 1:31.x. Not my best lap, but I was content. :)

Race 1 (10th)

Race 1 was a complete disaster. Spent most of the first lap avoiding cars spinning, flying across the track or rejoining the track. It was a war zone I tell ya. :p

About half way threw lap one Lewis made a small mistake giving the pack of three behind him a run on him. It was Beemsterboer, Qualmann and me. The Qualmann slipped past Lewis as I was passing Beemsterboer. I was now approaching Lewis quickly, but we were all to close together coming into the next corner. I gave Lewis a bit of a push putting him into Qualmann. Both of them spun and Lewis and I hit the barrier before I came to a stop at the edge of the track. Right as I was about to move off the track, Mark Briney hit me and spun, but luckily he was able to get going again fairly fast. I rejoined down in 14th with suspension damage.

I was now on mission to salvage my race and started to hunt down Lewis and Mark. Just as I caught up back to Lewis, he made another mistake. His car came flying back across the track and I just missed him by inches!

I now was on rails and caught Mark, Ollie, Bert and Beemsterboer with relative ease and passed them. A few turns later I made a small mistake allowing Bert to slip back through. As I piled on the pressure he finally made a mistake touching the grass with his outside tires and spinning, which caused me to run off track in order not to hit him, which in turn allowed Joao to slip through on the both of us.

I was in 8th at this point, but I had to make one last mistake shuffling me back to 11th behind Bert again. Oddly enough I crossed the line in 10th. Someone must have crashed out just shy of the finish line.
