Roby75 made two versions of this available... the first one, which keeps the thunder sound effects, was released initiallt... this was later retracted for another version which removes the thunder sound altogether and this is the one he recommends to install...

never could clear a clear answer as to why - something to do with thunder playing when it shouldn't do - but personally, i've been running the first version for months with no problems at all...

so it's down to you to decide which version to install... but whichever you choose, it'll stop the framerate stutters that occur when the real game files are loaded by the engine...

Just copy the folder Sound into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USER_NAME\race07\GameData

Remember air temp is cold today, its like we are racing in early spring or late fall. Tires will be cold and car will be heavy cause of fuel.

Be courteous to one another, anticipate peoples actions, and be aware of who is around you and where.

If everyone keeps that in mind, we will have a race for the ages.

wheel not working and pedals.. so i tried to install a joypad in the last minute and do some driving in the back at the field just to have some fun because joypad is rubbish anyway i could not brake with it in the first corner first race and crashed sorry sorry for that

Steve I will test on the new server and post my findings, should be able to do it in the next hour or so.

If im correct in my thinking putting the pressures lower will create more heat in the tires. I might be wrong...gonna test now.

Had no practice tonight so wasnt expecting much.

Race 1:

Quallied first and was very happy and from there got the win with about 30 seconds or so gap :good:

Race 2:

Nailed Pole again but got a bad start ( I f*cking hate starts) but then nigel put it into a wall at t1. Got half way round the lap and got disconnected felt like :frusty:. So angry man

Race 3:

Got 2nd in qually but really cant nail this track. After that ben got away in p1 and i also got away from 3rd place rob. Then I got disconnected again woooooppppppyyyyyyyy. Love it. I love AOL. What a perfetic excuse for a F*CKING internet provider. Absolutely useless. :yell:

First two races were challenging to drive but were less exciting because of the rain, mostly driving all alone. First race: 2nd, Seconds race: hit the wall, heavy damage to front suspension, car didn't go further.
The third race however was one of the best races I ever had! What a battle! 5 of us had great fun there! Finally finished 4th.

Thx for organizing this great event, I had a lot of fun, especially at 3rd race.
