It was honestly a bit more complicated than that, that's part of the reason why I wasn't more specific on that (and I didn't want to be). Don't worry about it. I wasn't trying to get an apology from anyone, let alone make them feel bad (that's absolutely the last thing I'd ever want), but just to remind the people involved situations like that are very much avoidable if we try (and by that I indeed mean "we", because I guess a lot of that could've been avoided if I had more skill or at least had thought more ahead and acted accordingly).
