Steering wheel settings, in-game steering issue

Hi, please help me set up my wheel properly so that it works as it should. I've fiddled with all the steering settings in the game's control menu, but can't get the steering to work. Right now it's a big mess and unplayable. It's far too light, digital and not in sync with my actual input (turns much more than my input).

I've been able to set my wheel to work fine with any racing game/sim i've played lately.
This one appears to be lacking steering adjustment options(digital steering, steering sensitivity...) for some reason and atm it appears i can't even play the game with my wheel. I have an old Sidewinder wheel with ca. 200° rotation. How can i fix this ?

p.s.: Temporary solution is to lock the wheel and/or hide the arms in the menu.
It somewhat prevents the distractions from the abnormally turning in-game wheel.
I find it much easier to control the car now.
