steam login failure

Today i got a weird error message from steam,it was going on and going on forever giving me the same message like this:

STEAM LOGIN FAILURE : STEAM NOT CONNECTED

take blogs out and try again it works again

pretty much the same message i recieved before connection lost both in the WTCC and Mini Tournament....

Deleting the 2 .blob file and updating steam again solves the problem temporarily, but it keeps coming back.

Just i donno why, but annoying to say the least....

to avoid that i remove the two .blob files before the start of tournament races and steam updates itself just before that! so fingers crossed:nothing happened so far

steam refuses to open currently for me.

Is the account server down?

Hrm...looks like McAffe blocks the steam-connection.

Anyone familiar with the current version of
McAffe SecurityCenter?

It showed:
"Mc Affe Systemguards allowed 1 single change/modication of your computere."
(Translation from German version)

Problem, I cannot find a way to undo that.
And I cannot figure what kind of change it made.

Steam just tells me that a connection to the Steam-network failed.

PLEASE HELP.
