RACE
What happened in the 2nd corner??was 9th then i dropped to 23rd lol

Was going really well havin really great fun caught up the guys quickly was in 7th position having some great battles with Rebiero, we pitted on same lap and battled on thanks mate, came to 46th lap i hit a wall and burled over a wall couldn't get back to track FUMING!!!! lol

Anyway thanks to RD and MR EVANS for another greats nites mini madness!!

not my best race, very disappointed at my self :disapointed: i want to apologize to Kieran for the hit on the first lap not much i could do about it. i also want to apologize to Mtommi for the hit causing you to hit the wall, i've waited for you to regain your place for 20 secs or more but took you ages to comeback. finally i want to apologize to David Lemon for the hit causing you the end of your race really sorry mate. after that i decided to end my race as it was already bad enuff, sorry to everybody again :disapointed:

It wasn't a problem Yves, I've raced with you enough times to know you didn't mean it, I think a lot of people had a bad night tonight, could this track be haunted :shock: or maybe we all need the donkey stick oke:

Bad quality racing on my end tonight! Pace was ok, but to many mistakes.

Sorry Laurance for this hard bump when I was following you! Was the beginning of the end for me (but hit the walls already before a couple of times)!

The problem during Qualy was strange, out of a sudden I was kick off track and 'Drive' was disabled! Not able to rejoin. Left and came back with 8 minutes to go in Qualy.

Well, I qualified in 19th. Didn't expect much more being this was my first run in the minis and on this track.

I did reasonable well during the first half of the race and had some fun battles. I pitted around lap 38 in 5th. My pit stop took forwever, as I was trying to reduce the amount of fuel I was taking on. I rejoined in 10th and finally finished in 7th despite a rather sorry second half of the race.

All in all I had fun though. To bad so many of you got disconnected or crashed out. was a rather slim field at the end with only 10 drivers remaining.

Thanks to good folks at RD for putting on this event.

Qualify: 3rd - Finish: 1st

The most exciting action for me was the sprint down to T1 from the lights....very much got the leap on Ryan and Ben and made it with room to spare ,usual early pace was on so time to push as they squabbled over 2nd,when Ryan cleared Ben he could pull a bit back at certain parts,but overall i felt comfy,as they dropped out behind me for various reasons it shook down to Nige chasing about 12-14secs back up to pit time and was about the same when i came out pits a lap after Nige,a bit of wandering brain syndrome and on cruise mode saw Nige close up to 3-4secs by the end,but i felt i always had a little summat in me pocket .
Well done all podiums and indeed all finishing survivors! :good:.
Big Thanks Andrew and RD...that track sort of grew on me .

Qualified 12th (i think can never remember lol) with 50L onboard so was very happy.

Race started and it was clear the car handled different than in qualy so slowed down and took it easy for the first 10 laps. Was then able to push and as the pitstops started was back upto 9th.

By the time I pitted was 3rd with some solid laps behind me, a shorter stop so thought I would get out in about 6th or so, but the car wouldn`t restart, fueled and new tyres then 20 seconds trying to start the (huge expletive). Eventually it started and I came out in 10th so pushed as hard as possible, making my way up to a 5th place finish, but with all the pushing had gulped the fuel and spent the last 3 laps cornering in 4th and 5th to try and save fuel. Eventually finished with 0.2L left in the tank and mightily relieved.

Maybe something with a longer lap for the next one, these short laps are taking their toll.:glasses-nerdy:
