TeamGT is an Italian simracing community born in 2008 with the challenging goal of becoming the meeting point for PS3 Gran Turismo fans.
In a rather short time the community, disappointed by the delays in the GT5 release date and by the overall quality of the driving simulations in the Playstation enviroment, experienced a mass migration to PC sims.
First came Simbin's GTR Evo, then GTR 2, the community grew and many fantastic championships were organized on the privately owned racing servers.

In 2010 a new technology leap came to be, and we moved to iRacing in a very short time, and it looks as this will be a stable solution for the foreseable future!
The most notable characteristic of the TeamGT Community is the TeamGT racing team, which is composed of a closed number of community members. Enrollement in the team is not easy, as a new pilot has to be proposed for inclusion by a team member and must receive a positive vote by all current team members.
The main requirements for eligibility are speed, fairplay, respect for fellow pilots and partecipation in community life.
This exclusive membership process has allowed the growth of a strong and committed racing team, that has reached notable results in iRacing's Mustang Challenge, Star Mazda Championship, GT Challenge Series and in the SimLeague 2011/2012 Championship.
