Gents here is a note from Shawn about rfactor drivers swaps. We followed the suggestion and had no issues in the whole 24 hour event.

Gents here is a note from Shawn about rfactor drivers swaps. We followed the suggestion and had no issues in the whole 24 hour event.

Furthermore, set your internet speeds correctly (same place as where you switch to spectator mode). I have 600/40 internet and I've set my speeds to 10/10. Anything above 10 is not really required.
Before you swap, make sure both drivers have the identical setup assigned. This overwrites the car's default setup and makes sure all settings will stay the same after the swap.
Restart your PC before you enter the server, join with about 5 mins to go, don't change anything in the setup menu!
Click on the driver you're going to swap with, press the passenger select button.
Wait for the current driver to select you in the pit menu and for him to come in for the pitstop.
I usually click race in the last couple of corners before the pit entry. The driver who just got out of the car has to make sure the game tells him: "You are no longer driving with xxx" by pressing the passenger select.
Have done atleast 50 succesful swaps this way, without any failed ones.
