Sparks and flames on other cars?

Hello! I was wondering if these effects that are only showing on my car, may appear on the other cars aswell. Is something that can't be changed or I'm missing an option? Thank you very much.

Maybe in your"gamername.plr" file :

[ Graphic Options ]:

Engine Emitter Flow="1"
Tire Emitter Flow="1"
Smoke Flow="1"
Raindrop Flow="3"
Rainspray Flow="3"
Spark Flow="3"

Backfire work only for the highlighted car, could be your car or ai but only 1 sadly.
I think the key to unlock this feature is in GTR2.EXE so only @The Iron Wolf can eventually enable it via CC one day...

Feel free to PM me to share with me what you know about this feature, how it is authored, when is it visible, what textures/materials used etc. Maybe it is something simple (graphics almost never is, but who knows).

In CAS file, it is under
Instance=BACKFIRE

The xxxx_backfire.gmt with flames textures must have material name with
xxxx_backfire1
(xxxx_backfire2) or more

Animation type Random
Frames from 0 to 16
Frequency is quite the same as rainscreen between 20-30

Dds called are in stex.gtr :
BFA00 to BFA16.DDS for default simbin name
But you can find mods at eec with URD_SBFAxx.dds name

That's awesome news as many people complained about this feature to be only available for 1 car in default game...15 years later but it is never too late

yeah it also felt good to have a smaller victory before doing DRS which is megaton of work.
