Vote now for your 2018 Spanish Grand Prix driver of the day!

In something of an unspectacular event at the Circuit de Catalunya we had one or two particularly outstanding driver performances within the 14 race finishers, but who do our RaceDepartment community feel deserves accolades as the best of the bunch?

The voting begins for the 2018 Formula One Spanish Grand Prix Driver of the Day!

I voted Verstappen. Finishing on the podium with a slightly damaged car, a big gap to his teammate and a Ferrari not being able to close in is worth the vote. Great job from the kid this time.

LeClerc for me. Holding of a world champion whilst driving the worst car on the grid is special.

It's hard to say with Stroll and Sirotkin at the wheel, but I'd guess Williams has a worse car this year.

Even with Kubica driving in FP1, the Williams was no match for the rest.

I would agree with that, although in that case it's also noticable that Lance Stroll managed to finish just one place behind LeClerc

LeClerc..haven't been a fan of most rookies lately, a lot of rubbish drivers (for F1 standards mind you), but he seems like the real deal
