A bad quali means I can go forwards in the race. Premium

It was a truly dominant performance by Project Resistance Racing.
We probably should have expected it somewhat as Esteve Rueda in GT1 was so dominant in the Sepang Practice race both in pace and tyre management.
However few of us could have imagined the pace of his team mate Miguel. They took pole by 1.5 sec and opened the race by lapping a consistent 1 sec clear of the other GT1s. By lap 10 they had 10 sec, by lap 20 15 sec and never looked back. They appeared to run relatively low fuel and stopped at lap 20 but by stint 2 had a pit stop in hand and were never headed again.
Respect to them and to any team that held them to a 1 lap lead.

As the P5 GT1 I was lapped a few times (ok 4 times but it was 8 hours ok!) and in sector 2 I figured "they cant pass me here and with my cunning low aero they can't pass me in sector 3 either". Well they passed me clean in sector 2 and took no prisoners. It showed me how much I had been leaving in the car. Great racing guys.
