Sound of other cars in-game is horrible!?

Hey guys

I just had a race last night, and noticed something pretty horrendous. Sitting in your car, you cannot hear others around the track, unless the car is within the vicinity of 20 metres or something of yours? A car drove past while I was parked trackside, and it sounded simply terrible.

Am I missing some settings, or is this normal? AC getting the basics worse and worse!

Some cars are indeed not so great, however I think it is not as bad as you say. Also don't forget fmod is very new and it will likely be improved before final release.
