* Just an idea guys, hope it might prove useful to some! *

We've all played racing games online where the first corner turns in to a demolition derby. Sometimes it's hard to find like-minded racers who like to play clean and fair. Your friends list might be a little empty or you might be playing at an odd time of the day when friends aren't online. If this has happened to you why not try this out:

1. Link removed

2. Wait for me to accept the request (will check the gamertag every so often)

3. When you want to play F1 2011 online check the friends list of 'Race Department' (which is viewable by all) to find fellow racers

The idea of this is to have a list of 100 people from Race Department who regularly play F1 2011 on Xbox 360 at your disposal 24/7. If you play with someone and have a good time then send them a friend request. If for whatever reason you decide not to play F1 2011 and/or Xbox 360 anymore please remove 'removed' as a friend making space for others.

that is a great idea, however majortiy of people in the league are friends with one another or our tags can be rtereved from davids friend list, also most ppl dont respond to RANDOM REQUESTS, me inculded, there has to be a system where potentiontal drivers will be able to message ppl to see if we wanna race. would be intresting to see what james thinks of the idea after all you would of had to get rd's permission to do this. also this would have to be a licenced members thing as almost every f1 event here requires a licence

if this proves to be fake. it will be removed from my friends im sorry but i am really cautious on new friends as i never know if my acct will get hacked

Ok, well this for me is not a good idea

1) Nobody has asked for permission to use the RD name for this purpose.

2) We cannot regulate this xbox Gamertag and / or the friends list.

3) We have a licenced membership scheme here - to guarantee our licenced members can have clean fun racing - we cannot guarantee this if a 3rd party is abiding by our rules..... Jay, you are not even a licenced member yourself!

In summary, I advise the xbox members who already race here to continue racing as you were - by using the racing club and league sections where only licenced members should be able to post, and (no offence Jay) that we can trust there will be no problems.

If people want to race outside of RD organisation then they can, we are not stopping that, but any racing with RD affiliation MUST be organised through the racing club on this site.

We will stick this thread and close it. It will be used for all results and standings tables. Please use paddock chat for discussions.

Tables after Melbourne. Aologies for bad formatting will try to tidy up when I'm not so tired.

Team Standings:
Please note that Ferrari have 44 points credit and HRT the corresoponding debit from driver transfer market. Dumping all those points in one go distorts most of the driver and team finances so I have now tested a new system where we adjust 2.32 points per round. This is included.
