Hello there i had to reinstall my Assetto Corsa last days - i lost also my APP/content folder ...

Now when I'm racing against AI i get stupid bar at down of the screen - i can't hide it and here is the question number 1 how to close/hide this bar ( hide all apps does not help )

I can't download Race Essentials cause my account on AC forum is still not verified...
that's why i gave a chance for Sidekick app - and i noticed Tyre temp works fine, tyre wear also, but brake temperature is always 36 Celsius degree ... Nissan GTR R34, Mazda RX 7 etc cars - anyone knows whats going on ?

Those are both mods, right? Perhaps they don't support brake temps, or output the info in a way incompatible with the app. Try with some of AC's stock content and see if the temp monitor works for those.

Yeah, probably won't work on mod cars if they don't have the feature added. And I believe brake temps only work on some of the Kunos cars so far. @Grabarz, try some of the older cars like the Porsche Carrera RSR 3.0 or the Ford Escort and see if it shows brake temps as I'm pretty sure those cars do have functional brake temps.

Well, according to the recent change log, all the vintage cars have brake temps but I'm not sure if any of the modern cars do so you probably won't see anything on (most) modern cars. Best bet is to ask in the side kick app thread. But for the most part brake temps don't have a whole lot of affect in AC yet so I don't think it's something to be too worried about. One other thought, do you have damage off? I wonder if having damage off disables brake temps.

yes i disabled damage - let me try turn it on :)
edit: nope FORD GT 40 - brakes are still blue still 36 degree 280 to 0 ...

I think the latest patch introduced brake fade to the vintage cars, but it didn't say anything about whether the brake temps were actually readable or not. Might not be yet, since the more modern cars are far less likely to suffer from fade, making the temps irrelevant.

Did you download the last update of sidekicks?
If you want to see the brake temp correctly you should look at the telemetry app that must be enabled with the other dev apps in the Assetto Corsa.ini file.
Tried the Ferrari 312T and I felt a different car behaviour when braking with much more less bite in the initial stage than before stomping on brake.

It's not really that complicated to verify your steam account on AC forums, it shows the devs (and myself in this case) that you're running a legally obtained latest version of the game, which Sidekick assumes you do have in order for all the functions to work as expected.
