Also sometimes it helps if you just change the CSP version to a previouse one and then back to the latest.

The big question is, why is there no "system" folder in your python folder?
It should come with the AC install. One solution for this is a "Steam file integrity check".
Right click an "Assetto Corsa", select properties:

My track lighting and headlights are far too bright at night, the cars become overexposed. I can't see anything in the lighting fx menu that might help.

You lowered the CSP lights brightness to 100%?

SOL 1.3.1 CSP 185

I tried out the new "smoke" settings that are still a WIP - they're very pretty. But when you use them, you lose the spray effects behind cars during rainy weather, and dirt/grass effects if you go off the track. Just an fyi, all goes back to normal when you turn the new smoke off.

Using the new smoke effects, my tires start smoking at speeds above 30 mph or so no matter what. It gets thicker the faster I go, eventually clipping into the cockpit from the front wheels.What did I do wrong? This is offline, single car practice, using Oculus Rift.

Are you by chance launching through sim commander? I get that message if I try to launch CM through Sim Commander but not if I launch by double clicking the desktop shortcut. Then double click CM in SC and it attaches to the already running game.

What car are you driving ? I had that problem on one car, but the smoke was the result of improperly set ride heights - after I adjusted the cars setup, the smoke went away. Just a thought...

Ok so i just gotta say. This mod along with A3PP filter in VR is the best sim experience ive ever had. Hands down!! I just finished a lap around Nords at 21:30 at night and it is incredible. Thank you to all involved. Wow!!

Please delete the sol weather in content/weather and install again manually.

Yes, I all my settings are as suggested in the latest manual and I have reinstalled car and track configs.
It's not a game breaking issue. I'll go with things as they are unless you have further suggestions.

hello I have a problem from the size of the settings can not reduce? i have hidden settings for ten and wipers and it does after updating Sol 1.3.1 otherwise everything goes even the red sky

yes you can, on CM-settings-apps-sol_weather- app size multi, set to 70% or 80%

I've discovered that it's the track lights that are the problem. On unlit tracks and darker sections of lit tracks the headlights work as expected and everything looks fantastic but track lighting too bright. I've tried once again to reinstall the track configs but nothing has changed.
If anyone has a solution I'd be grateful.
