I just noticed as well, the link to the install guide says its for Sol 2.2.9, but the install guide itself says its for 2.2.8. Also I figured out how to install it. The link from the manual is nonfunctioning though, just fyi

Sol 2.2.8 install manual will also work with Sol 2.2.9. You just have to install it like described in the manual.

After updating CSP Sol broke somehow. Clouds works, sound of rain is on, but no raindrops, no water on tracks, no puddles. So only sounds and clouds. I've updated Sol, tried older CSP, just no water, only sounds and clouds. I don't know haw to fix it, does anyone has any ideas what to do?

Maybe just read the overview page. You always need a CSP preview version to have visual and physical rain.

I have sol 2.2.9 and CSP 0.2.3. I also have Sol 2.5 running in the controller script in the drive tab as I am running the latest version of Content Manager. Yet it still says that sol 2.5 controller not running

Open the CSP Python apps debug in-game, switch to log tab and make a screenshot.

Could be you need to do a steam integration check of AC if there is an error about missing the python system.

I have csp 0.2.2 cause its the only one that works for me and every time I load up with sol it keeps crashing but when I remove it it works perfectly fine and every time it crashes it says graphics driver failed or something like that and gives me this message on content manager

Just try to reset your CSP settings to default. Rename the Documents/Assetto Corsa/cfg/extension folder to something different. You can restore it later. Restart CM, it will create a new extension folder.

If you download Sol, you will get a 7z file. 7z has the best pack rates and is open source.
It could or will be that your Windows system reports a trojan with this download!

There is no trojan in this file!!!

The main reason of this report is:
You have a junk software installed within your system by default.
This junk software is called "Microsoft Defender"

Microsoft Defender is machine-learning things and it shows that is not the best idea!
It just learned that 7z archive could be trojans and so it warns you - falsely!

The file wasn't touched for months and it was ok for Defender. But now suddenly it is a problem.

So please do the only right thing in this scenario:
Get rid of Microsoft Defender!
Get a serious antivirus and antitrojan software. There are many free and paid ones.

They are all better than Microsoft Defender. If you don't believe me. Just do a search in the internet about false reports of Microsoft Defender or its bad CPU consumption.
Your PC will be a better one without it...

You did not install it properly. If an error happens, the Lua system halts and this will reduce the fps drastically. Please watch the official Pure install video and follow the steps exactly.

If you open Lua Debug app in-game you will see the errors by red dots.

You can open those tabs and expand the error.

Also please report such things at the Pure Discord server. If you link your Patreon with Discord you will be autoconnected to Pure Discord server. You may find a solution there already in the pure help hub.

Open the Lua Debug app ingame and make a screenshot. There is probably a red dot, which means you have an error. The CSP system will slow down then.

Cm version is 0.8.2633 and CSP 0.2.2, downloaded sol 2.2.9 with the steps provided in the pdfs and still can't select sol as weather script, cant use sol panner app in game either. Please help!

Its not installed then. Open th 7z file with 7zip and extract the 4 folders apps, content, extension and system to your USED ac root folder.
