F1 2013 sluggish wheel

Hi,

My TSW is sluggish in career. IN proving grounds its fine. Ive set override input to steering wheel. My benchmark fps is 58. WHat can I do? Tips?

Have you got vsync on? There is an issue that is solved on some wheels by enabling it. I know you will take a bit of a fps hit by doing so but it may fix the issue.

Thank you for your reply! I did, so I did not understand.

I thought it strange it only occured in career. So I figured maybe its video card driver related. Ive a Club 3d HD7800 Royal Queen 1gig @ 860 clock and 1200 memory and I boosted that to 945 clock and 1215 mem to run at 1900x1200 in game.

I always ran with 4x fsaa and vsync on, high shadows, high particles/detail and easely ran at 60-ish fps. Still I didnt trust it so i lowered the fsaa to 2x, lowered the shadows, trees and as a bonus, upgraded my video driver.

I just ran a test and it seems to work much better.

I can throw the car around more and it does not understeer off the track in the middle of high speed corners anymore.

ANy tips on the graphic settings or boost settings?

I always keep my video card drivers up to date. it may have something to do with the actual settings on the wheel then. Try looking for a thread on here about your particular wheel, it's one of the sticky threads in the F1 2013 game section.

I have a Thomas Super Wheel. I havent seen any support for that or any other people using it.

I lowered the graphics to 1600x1000 wich seems to have helped a bit more, but still I have problems in the game. Gear sometimes refusing to shift, and slow steering response. Il go and fiddle with it a bit more.
