I started this tutorial some months ago on RaceSimCentral, but after a while the graphics were lost. At the moment even the startpost was gone.

Recovered the text and reformatted it into a PDF.

thanks for the guide, but is there an easier way to paint your car, are there pre-painted files you can download. If not, then i will use the guide and make a kick-ass paintjob.

Hi Loosie at the moment there are no pre painted schemes available but there may be in the future.

But that said I would say its still worth having a bash yourself, because by the time you've finished you'll be as happy as larry and have that "I did that feeling".

Ramon, how do you use the lasso toole that good? You use a tablet for this, dont you? Confess, man... I only use the pen tool because it is a least a bit manageable using the mouse...

Firs sorry for my english
I have a one small problem with "windows" in lacetti.And here is my problem.
When i finsh painting with photoshop and save the file and when i start the game select my car the windows in my car is notransparent.Any ideas ??

Do you mean from the inside you can't see out, or the outside view the windows all look black?

Either way it's going to be the alpha channel, but it depends on what problem you have for which file to fix.

Im right there with you, stuck on the same point, I've tried to make a skin after I bought CS2, but the car wont shop up in game

Few questions re your troubles.

1. Are you saving the body texture as DX1 with 6mip maps.
2. Are you sure your ini file is saving as a ini and not a txt
3. since patch are you putting the skin in the "CustomSkins" folder in the simbin folder in "My Docs"
