SimBin launches RaceRoom - a new “green” motorsport concept for the event industry

RaceRoom is the name of the “turn key” franchise solution for event centres including race rigs, software and SimBin games ready for organized LAN competitions. The concept is an opportunity for new business or existing event centres that wants to add a new fresh element to their current offering.

RaceRoom has been developed by SimBin Distribution AB and parent company SimBin Studios AB and uses the company’s latest title RACE 07 – The WTCC Game. The software can effectively create events based on the game using race rigs in commercial environments.
“Our ambition is to continuously add new game content to our RaceRoom using the titles developed and released by the SimBin group of companies. RaceRoom offers a Dynamic Package which includes marketing POS and software which all might be updated as frequently as on a yearly basis to secure that companies investing in these event solutions will be fully dynamic and stay on the edge” said Marcus Bodin, CEO, SimBin Distribution AB. “A world of difference compared to the old arcade halls where the machines usually are collecting dust after a year or two as the software grows old”.

Background
The first steps towards the RaceRoom concept was launched as a mobile game park at the FIA GT 24hour race at Spa- Franchorshamp already in 2004, at the time using SimBin´s first title; GTR – FIA GT Racing Game.
Since that day SimBin´s simulators have been frequently featured at tradeshows and motor sport events all over the world and have been a key ingredient to demonstrate the various SimBin games.
The increasing interest in SimBin games and race rigs from promoters, racing teams and event centres has resulted in SimBin distribution AB supplying hundreds of race rigs across the globe. Among several prestigious customers are WTCC partners and their associates; BMW Motorsport, Chevrolet DK, Seat Sport, Seat Sport Italy, Seat Sweden, Canon, Eurosport VIP Club, Macau Grand Prix, Monroe, Yokohama Europe, Yokohama Russia and Yokohama Denmark.
RaceRoom is the commercial result from the increasing interest on the market. A commercial concept that for years has been thoroughly tested in the extreme conditions one can find in a commercial environment at a race track or at a car show.
At this time two RaceRooms are up and running in Stockholm, Sweden, with more locations to follow.

I think I may visit brands to watch the WTCC races and visit the race room when its there, Ive never been to brands also and I have been wanting to go for years,
