Sim-Lab Integrated Monitor Mount / DD System Experience

Hello Guys

I am currently looking to buy the SimLab Integrated Monitor Mount plus a Quad-Addon for a Monitor on top. I want to swap later to a Simucube 2 Pro and I am asking if anyone has such a system or similar and can tell me if the mount bounces a lot or not with such a DD System and if you can notice it. Problem is the current Space on my right to buy a monitor stand, so the integrated version looks currently like a better choice.

Also I am planing to Upgrade to new Monitors soon, I currently have 2x27" Monitors side by side but Iam looking to buy either a 32" as my Main and a 27" on top or a samsung odyssey g9 49" and a 27" on top. But since I would also be streaming, I heard that there are issues with the format and resolution of the Display.

The other option would be a 38" LG monitor as my main and a 27" on top. Any suggestions ? A Triple Setup is currently out of question, so either a 32", ultrawide + a 27" on top for Information like stream infos, etc.

Cheers :)

It might not be as elegant as sim-lab's but much more flexible. Like it.

Yeah, you are right, not graceful but lots more adjustability.
Nice. Good you managed to figure out appropriate solution. Wouldn’t standalone single monitor stand from SimLab be the most flexible? Although I’m not sure what is height adjustment range. For instance someone has a bit higher uprights (and a wheelbase mounted higher) would the monitor stand be high enough? Also wouldn’t it interfere with the keyboard tray?
I still can just use my IKEA desk with adjustable height and simply put my monitor on it, but I think the monitor would be positioned a bit too high(because it’s on its stand, which adds about 4 cm) in relation to the wheel. I haven’t assembled the desk yet, because I can still return it and consider other options. I think with a monitor stand I could position monitor exactly where I want in therms height

I have thought about a freestanding monitor mount but decided against it for a couple of reasons, one is that it sits outside of the rig and where mine is now is in a tight spot in the loungeroom, don't think the missus would appreciate me encroaching further into the lounge area. Secondly we have a crazy 8 year old and animals that charge around and I would be nervous that it could get knocked around or over.
My 95cm high uprights are on the way from simlab now, should get them in a week, this will allow me more adjustment for the monitor, wheelbase and button boxes. Should give me exactly what I am looking for as I find the simlab ones a bit low for the height I want with the wheelbase and other bits and bobs.

My new uprights arrived, 95cm high instead of the standard 78-80cm that come with the P1-X. In the process of changing over I decided to do a bit of maintenance and made some other changes. Swapped out all the chrome bolts and grey brackets for all black ones, added a headphone holder and swapped out some bolts for clamping levers for quick and easy adjustments. Very happy with the end results.
