Based loosely on Bram's setup, this is for all you grinders out there who are still driving the Lotus out of love...

Notes
As Bram said, Gear 1 is super long, with throttle modulation really helps through the tight final corner and round hairpins.

You should probably adjust the gear ratios very slightly downwards for 2, 3 and 4 -- 5 to 7 may also benefit from one click down but I prefer slightly longer gearing to avoid engine wear.

Whilst I geared this 'blind' -- most of the setups are in KPH and I use MPH (quaint Brit that I am) -- when I did the KPH -> MPH conversions, I was surprised how exactly my curve followed Bram's until 5th Gear. Obviously the Mercedes can run with lower DF so gets that extra top end speed benefit.

You'll find this car runs with moderate downforce and the front end *will* understeer in very wet conditions, but I thought it did so in a balanced way. The set up shouldn't burn through tyres too quickly - the main problem with the Lotus due to its low overall downforce - so although you'll go slower, you'll consistently go the same amount of slow. ;-)

I play (badly) with all Assists off but this setup is pleasing to drive for me. It breaks away predictably and you can even hold an unexpected slide as long as your tyres aren't 12 laps old. THROTTLE MODULATION IS CRITICAL FOR THIS TRACK, and nail your apexes. As I got used to the setup, particularly in the dry, I found I could put the power down out of faster corners sooner and sooner.

My best lap in FP2 was the 1:37, you can happily tonk round doing 1:38s and 1:39s on this setup. Very satisfying once you get the setup tweaked.
