GPLGEM submitted a new resource:

shelby cobra 427sc Skinpack - Shelby Cobra metallic colors

Hello everybody,

What started as a trial to mimic that typical blue metallic of the cobra, it ended in making more metallics. I tried to follow the 427 S/C factory colors.

Included are also a set of folders which contains variations of white body stripes.

And I added a set of road and track tyres.

The metallic effect can best be seen inside the car.

Enjoy!

Nice work.

Would you consider attempting copper to replicate some very exclusive real world examples?

While not a 427, this 289 competition model driven by the legendary Dan Gurney would look incredible with your metallic treatment:

Hi Ruttman98,

Thnx for liking my skins,

I would like it to give it a try. Which very exclusive real world examples would you consider? And do you have some photo reference material?

I will look for some example this weekend. The copper and polished aluminum Cobras are breathtaking.

I tried to make a polished aluminum version, but is was not convincing enough. After some research I found out that you have to change the shader of the body. If you have Content Manager you can change the body color to polished. See the added pictures. It makes hardly any difference which skin you choose. Beware, all the other skins have then the same polished look.
The same goes for copper, however I will look in to that if there is an other way.
