Getting 1st in Q2 is no big deal against AI since they really seem to hold back in the rain. Qualifying session was Q1 - Dry, Q2 - Very Wet, Q3 - Dry... In Q1 I qualified only 12th with a 1:38.785. I follow Parc Ferme rules so after P3 I usually don't change anything, still amazed I had relatively good control in the wet. This setting in a Lotus is a bit slippery on the rear end even in the dry. So definitely room for improvement. It actually feels better to drive in full fuel load conditions which surprised me cause I have the ride height pretty low for a track as bumpy as Shanghai. Still have to do the race, so hopefully I don't wear out the front tires way to fast with 1.40 front camber.

I tried both setups and like them a lot. With Kazuis my lotus shudders round corners and fronts out a bit but works well, a scrappy 1.,47. Kevins I seem to run out of power down the straights can go round corners faster but I spin more often, got a scrappy 1.45. I'm a poor driver with all the assists on except brake assist till I get used to the game. using a thrustmaster pad on pc. Thanks both of you.

Happy Hunting!!

P.s has anyone noticed adverse weather conditions (namely high winds) means you can reduce downforce for same grip as higher downforce in lower winds?

Just tried Andrews set up as above and got a 1:35.5 in the wet and also beat my time in the dry with pretty much the same set up.
Works for me.
