Thanks for posting the setup. I'm not a good racer, so I couldn't handle the car through T1 and 2 with your setup as I kept losing the back end, but the gear ratios were great so I stole them for my default setup

I only manage 1:44s so no threat to you guys this Friday :notworthy:

I'll say thanks for the set-up as well.
I'm also going to call this Lesson 1 in my new sim-carreer.
"Set-ups are important!"
Running with this set-up instead of my own just shaved 4.5 seconds of my laps.

Still almost a second faster than me.
1:38 is just so far out of reach that it borders on the incomprehensible.
I knew there'd be a learning-curve, but. . . .
It's somewhat disconcerting when one is reminded just how badly one sucks. :D

Cheers,
Lars

Hmmmm....
PB 1:41:150 , and down to (reasonably) steady 1:42s
Wonderful tool that time-attack.
Granted, 1:38 is still a ways off, but considering that I started on 1:49+ I'm going to go ahead and call that 'not too shabby' :D

But gawd you have to push to get down there. Turns 1 & 2 are right on the ragged edge (well, for my skill-level).
I can't even wrap my head around how hard you guys push to get 1:38

EDIT: Never mind.
Turns out that getting a better grasp on what the shock-settings actually do helps immensely.

So I've been working on a set-up for tomorrows race at Mugello.
Turns out that these race-cars are dreadfully complicated things. :)
But I do seem to have narrowed it down to what is IMO a fairly balanced set-up for the Accord.
6th gear might need a nudge up, not really sure.

One slight problem though:
It absolutely EATS tires.
Rear-wheels isn't too bad, but after 3-4 laps the front-wheels are really starting to hurt.
So is there anything I can do to mitigate this without unbalancing the whole thing?
Any help would be appreciated, even if it's after the race.
Just please talk to me like I'm not a petrol-head.
('cause I'm not :D )

Cheers,
Lars

PS: Yes, I realize that going slower would save on the tire-wear, but that kinda defeats the purpose of the exercise, doesn't it? :roflmao:

Seems like you already got it working, but usually, reducing camber (adjust towards the positive, e.g. from -4.0 to -3.5) helps with tyre wear getting too bad :)
