Setting gear ratios

With many cars, I am unable to adjust gear ratios...especially with the "Final Gear Ratio". Typically, the gears are too low and I can't even get to fourth gear in a four speed car.
Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance...

If a car's ratios cannot be changed then it's probably for one of two reasons. First, the car doesn't have adjustable ratios in real life, in which case it probably never will in-game. Second, it hasn't been implemented for that particular car yet and will be added later in a patch. I would lean towards the former, myself.

I understand what you mean though, the ratios in some cars are just weird. Don't know if it's a Brazilian thing or whether there's faults in some of the default setups.
