Seat adjustment

Is there a setting in the .hdc file for adjusting the seat fore and aft? The in-car seat adjustment buttons do not work in one particular mod I am using. I've also tried using the mouse to move the seat but that does not work. At the unmovable default setting I can only see about a quarter of the rear view mirror. Thanks in advance for any help.

"Seat" is a gmt object that is positioned with something like 3DsMax, ZModeller or 3DSimEd. Adjustments of the seat object are made in the vehicle's "car" file. Look in the "Team" folder (i.e. GTR2\GameData\Teams\GT\Ferrari 550 Teams\BMS Scuderia Italia) and then open the "car" file (i.e. 03022_GT_Ferrari_F550.car) using Notepad, Notepad+, WordPad, etc.and then locate this section:

MaxSeatRear=0.06
MaxSeatFront=-0.01
MaxSeatUp=0.01
MaxSeatDown=-0.01
FrontWheelsInCockpit=0

SteeringWheelType=5
ExternalDriverPosition=(0.398, -0.24, 0.2415)
FirstPersonDriverPosition=(0.36, -0.389, 0.171)
LeftSideSteering=1
ShiftStickPosition=(0.06, 0.315, -0.06)

In this example bold & italicized text are where the seat position is dictated.

I made seat adjustment mods in GTR2 Essentials for all stock and HQ cars
Tool you can't do without for this and similar work is Text Crawler

This will allow you to do all seats in a few clicks

***ALWAYS do in a TEMP folder not your sim folder

Then to use mods like this effectively you need to run JSGME or OVGME so you can disable/ enable
all in 1 click

Look at the bottom of text crawler pic you see over 1,000 cars to do that manually would take ..........lol

I know I am weird but I package every single thing in GTL\PnG\GTR2\Automobilista into mods
Without Text Crawler and Beyond Compare it was a nightmare

Automobilista I made separate EEC mods for each season and some that split other things
Because of hidden thumsb.db in 1/2 car rmodels they infected most all of my mods before I used this method

Symptoms in OVGME or JSGME or CM is once you make mods they get errors uninstalling then won't activate or de-activate they are just stuck lol

AMS and AC are far worse infected then the older GMotor.
I am still getting errors in Content Manager packing mods but can't find issue

You can get rid of all thumbs.db in one hit using Beyond Compare filters
The are no use to someone else

Thing is unless you use generic mod enablers you won't hear or see them so 99% modders/ people think I am crazy lol ergo they don't care which is understandable if you don't understand problem
