Well well well anotehr erally fun event in the MINI CHALLENGE cars!

Q'd P8 after I busted my butt to get .2 over Will on the grid.

R1 was a disaster from the word go! I jump the start and drag Glenn with me and we both serve a SNG. I dive in at the end of lap 1 and sail by my pit spot! this of course adds time to my visit with the official. I exit with Michiel Vande and manage to overtake him for 9th. Set my sights on Glenn who is ahead. He runs wide and slow on the hairpin on the fast downhill straight and I get by for 8th. I try to close the gap to Will but he is holding the gap and thats my finish in 8th.

R2 sets me on pole and I get a good start as only Claudio manages to jump me and squeaks by on the inside of T1 to be P1 at T2! Well done Claudio! Next Abdul rubs by me without incident on the insode of T2. I glue myself to his bumper and follow him blind thru the fast chicane at speed. We get thru that unscathed. I am under constant pressure from Gary and we have a good battle until he torpedoes off course on the fastest straight.

I am now under fire from Michel And he over takes me in a lap. I hold on him and close the gap! Wow I am driving way over my head now! I drop 2 wheels off track coming downhill to the main straight 180 and bruise the retaining wall as best I can! Will Assumes my position and I set sail with no air dam and suspension damage. I hold the gap to Will but am unable to repass and finish 7th.

It was fun! Enjoy the movie!
