on a side note, what kind of lap times are ya'll running? I ran a 1:41.9, felt pretty good. but ive found that what 'feels good' is normally about midpack on this game :laugh2:

great fun track though, good cars too. good call man, this'll be a fun race :skywalker:

heavy lubs to those that did sign up :love:
sucks to the rest of you that never want to try anything different.... :/

sorry to Yves and Jim (and others) for the nudges, I nudged a couple of people off and had to wait for them and everyone to regain position. Had a great battle with Jim at the end which made the race worthwile

Hey Chris, if you mean me, thanks :) I had some very good battles with people behind me, and I was very defensive with a rotten car and set up.

My first race I fuelled 3 times to much fuel, so no good there. Second race I set my fastest lap on the first lap and I only got to within 1.2 seconds of it through the race, not sure what was going on there.

thanks to all involved, :skywalker:

You know what I am talking about lol.

A few seconds can be chopped of your time.
It's about that part (I don't know what it's made of) in the last part of the turn, right?

If it is, I don't think you can improve your time by going over there. Actualy, my best lap times came when I didn't drive over there. You get more traction if you don't go there and the car stays more stable on the exit.

But I really don't think that part is a problem, because it's part of the track. Let's wait to hear something from Eric.

Just after the downhill - uphill, quick left turn down to 3rd gear right then a tight turn left followed by right. That grey bit on the right is where you can take without penalties mind and car is away. Aritan i tell ya if you nail it you can grab a few seconds there.

Yeah, we are talking about the same part of the track. I have 2 things to say:
1) I don't see why the game should give any penalties;
2) Check the fast laps in online time attack. Almost everyone don't pass over that area. I tested it thoroughly before and I can say that it's a give and take situation there. You get a few seconds during the turn, but you lose them in your way out.

But, hey, it's just my opinion. :) Maybe you (and other too) can be faster using that area and I really don't think we should penalize anyone because of it. :)

I came to find out by chance watching in the Race Monitor another racer. I tried it and found that area to give you a better time if you can take the risk.

I had to share my thoughts and discuss about it. No reason for complaints after the event if its decided in advance.
