Dont we got racing rules in this event?
I was used as a guardrail in T1, and then hardCORE assrammed on the next lap in T12, whats the point?
I joined this gaming/racing community because i thought you lads raced like gents! ( ps! some do race like gents, but NOT all.)

This riuns it for all of us that like too have fun racing, but wants too keep it CLEAN, and not push/clip/ram the fellow racers of the track if they are near you!

I`m not putting up any names too be pointed on here, because I hope thoose who do race like this, stops doing it after reading this post.
If not i have the replay file soo you all can see who they are, if they keep doing this in later races!

Best regards

a feed up noob, who thinks clean tight racing is more fun than demo derbi!

BIG THX Yves for the race1!!!! it was very very funny...
Long time im ago i have fun like that!!!!
for the seconde race... i have problem with the pedals...
no more brakes, trothle stay in half and only clutch work.... :(
but very nice event!!!!
gratz to all!!!
thx RD and co.... ;)

It was a really nice event for me. I made a race setup afternoon, but didn't get enough practice with low fuel. On quali it was hard for me to get a perfect lap. Finished 5th.
Race1: Got a very good start, then it was all about chasing Maks. He didn't make a single mistake, I tried to pass him in last lap but I braked too late and went off track. Came in 2nd.
Race2: It was a lot harder, made a few minor mistakes, a few laps after start it was Maks - me again, but this time he was 3 seconds ahead! I couldn't match his laptimes, he was 0.1-0.3 seconds faster in every lap! Then I started to make mistakes again and lost a lot of time, finished 12 seconds behind, but again in 2nd place. Great result for me:)

WD Maks for the excellent driving, and thanks Yves for organizing this event!

@Thomas

One thing i have to say is, i saw what happened at sector 3 of the first lap in my rear view mirror. I understand you.

First of all not really my favorite cars those production, i can drive them fast.

Race 1: Was 4th after 2 laps, but made 2 mistakes so ended up in the back. But i finished 3th, i don't know what really happened with you guys at the finish.

Race 2:

At the starting grid i got the message that i had a aero and susp problem.
So it was not really drivable, at turn 3 i braked but my car pulled to the right in to the grass, and was flying off i managed to not crash into you guys, that was going to be a mess if that happened. So i was 12 laps alone because i am no quitter. :wink2:. Still finished 4th because i was very consistent the whole race and that always pays off.

Thanks Yves and the rest.

Rules getting tougher:
SIGNING UP MEANS YOU WILL BE PRESENT AT THE EVENT! No sign outs allowed

I was about to say 'I am in'.... but under that circumstances, 2 weeks in advance... I need to hope that there are some spots left when I can more predict what's going on (I know, this is to test our league rediness... but in summer I always hope to get invited to a barbeque party, as I myself do not have a garden or balcony :) ).

Thank you Yves (and RD) for setting this up!

These R8s are very much fun. I was potentially fast but not consistent unfortunatelly. I got a lucky lap down during quali for pole, but did several small mistakes and a big one (in R1) during the races. Well done Maks and Peter. You had a consistent fast pace.

Once again the Caterhams come through and provide the high quality goods :good:.
Arrived for my first laps with 7mins of practice and struggled a bit, slight pick up of pace in qual but only good for 5th.Near the end of warmup i went and tried Marcels setup and it was instant improvement so i ran that for the race.
Off the line very well and took a place almost instantly and got a run down the inside for 3rd in to T1,then a few laps of massive 3 way battlemania with Yves and Abdul, some incredible racing there fellas, how close do like your Cats racing eh? :D,really enjoyed the chasing and building up a pass starting at the exit of T1 and completing it at the chicane, when i got to the lead i tried to escape as Yves fought his way past Abdul, but he got through and was all over me for many laps, but then some little errors here and there let me breathe again with a little gap,so a case of not making mistakes and bring it home for a enjoyable and hard earned win :good:.
Great stuff everyone i was ever near, classy :good:.
Thank you Yves and RD

Great event, very fun  thanks guy's joining :highfive:

Qualy: got second place behind Abdul, i tried everything to go faster but just couldn,t nail the perfect lap it would have been needed to grab the pole.

race: got a good start and stayed with Abdul and was able to start applying pressure on him but Gary wasn't far behind us and it became a 3 way battle for the lead. tried to pass Abdul a few time but i wasn't close enuff so i tried a little tactic and let Gary passed me so the could battle and hopefully i could take advantage of it and pass them both. of course it didn,t quite has worked the way i expected it but still passed Abdul and regain second place. after that i was able to follow Gary pace and stay within a second from him for many laps in which he took different lines on the straights to avoid me to drafting. i was hoping a mistake from him but it never came and i made some giving him a lead of just under 4 seconds. at this point i just kept my pace and secured second place.

thanks Marcel for the setup :good:
