Does anyone have some tips for the long righthander? I think i lose alot of time there.

I treat it like a sweeper with two apexes.

  1. Enter on the left at full throttle in third gear.
  2. Immediately on entry, I let off the throttle and follow the darkened line towards the first apex on the right.
  3. Once I pass the apex I go full throttle again momentarily as I drift towards the left.
  4. Then, again I have to lift off a little and hit the second apex on the right. I stay on the right at a constant speed until I know I can accelerate out of the turn towards the left part of the track and stay off the grass.
  5. Finally, it's full throttle out of the turn and onto the long straight.

Not sure if this helps, but it works ok for me, although I am not under 2 minutes yet either. I stay in third gear throughout the entire turn, but your gearing may vary. Good luck!

Thanks Jason, there some different approaches for that corner and it's hard to find out wich is best.

Only now i have to find a way to get the weather with 42 degrees to practice. :wink2:
