After my record 1:07:429 I finded new setup for Mclaren ofcorse because I think this is the faster car in this game and I made 1:06:565 (305 in world) but world record is amaizing and imppossible to make it. 1:04:8xx Crazy or fake I think? I was driving with my PS3 with "his" ghost and this is impposible to go so fast in the first left corner after first chicane and also last corner! He go 400km/h or what? Here is my setup for Interlagos and like I said,I made perfect lap with only 1:06:565

Enjoy! :)

accordingly to the values, you actually can set in game.

BTW, the Win7 Calculator has an convertion mode,
but it seems, the guys of Codemasters doen't know how to round mathematically correctly.

Pff i'm using a xbox 360 controller with above setup and can't get much faster then a 1.19.xx :x (in a Lotus)
Obviously i'm doing something wrong lol :)

A 1:06:565 that is about 4 seconds quicker than ive acheived ive just spent about 3 days getting off 0:40 off my time and thats with changeing the mapping and wing while going round the track and a lot of luck i cant go faster.

35th on 360 leaderboard with no assists and by using the dry setup from this site in the wet. Weird !

Hey...is this setup for wet or dry, sounds more like a dry setup and the times online seem to show that too!

@Andrew Trying to get my head around some of the setups and why people do what they do so out of interest could you give me some idea why the weight distribution here is 50/50 as oposed to somewhere like Abu Dhabi where you had it at 70/30.

Also, do you always set the ride height at 1 with the ARB's and springs at 11.

Cheers

@Wekkie Ive had pretty good results with a 3/1 wing also but 1/1 is my preferance raw speed over cornering I worry about those when I get to them.

@Hammerpgh Front Weight Bias gives better results on a track that is "point and shoot" where as a rear bias gives better performance round flowing tracks and yes ride height is always at 1/1 so far at least springs the rear is almost always an 11 the front is either normally 1 or 11 dependant on the track dont ask me why ive no clue some times softer is better for my cornering with my aero package where as stiffer is better at other places.

Thanks for the clarification Andrew.. always good to know how you speedy guys think ;) Will definitely give your setup a go when I get a run at this track.

I am really not sure at the moment how much the setup effects things for me. I gained over 2 seconds at Abu Dhabi when I ran a low downforce setup as opposed to the more standard setup but not sure if that was more due to familiarity with the track than purely down to the change of setup. I need to find some time from somewhere to test these things out I think.

A good setup will help leaps and bounds but dont try these in a race unless you know what to expect, adventurous moves with my setups are often costly and rely on the car ahead making the mistake.

Cheers Andrew, as I mentioned in the TT thread this morning I am far more comfortable in a more stable setup and in a race just wouldn't be able to handle your setup for long without error. But I can see why you use this type of setup in the TT's as there is so much speed gained provided you can handle the instability in the corners.. at least that's how it is for me anyway *lol*

I think were all pretty much happier with a more stable setup, unfortunately TT is all about the perfect lap so ill take a 1 in 50 lap chance at getting it right and going quicker than being beaten by a few tenths of a second :p

Especially with drivers like Grisfiske and Tamas who are consistantly good.
