I'll spoil you lot a bit with a setup I made.

Tried all possibilities and this is the fastest setup so far. Have to say can do mid 11's with all variables but can manage a 2.10.5 with this in online practice mode 1.
1 splitter and 1 wing isn't faster as I thought initially :p

2.09.3 in online Qually mode

This beast uses 5 ltrs of fuel per lap btw !

Put this file in your Sebring setup folder.

You can find it in your documents:

C:\Users\Ries Notenboom\Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\UserData\CarSetups\Sebring12H

If you don't have the folder Sebring12H yet you can just create it. The game will only create it once you have actually saved a setup for that track.

Well this was a good example of finding a RD server in practice completely by accident, & then deciding to join at the last minute of practice. Trying to set these cars up is still somewhat a mystery to me although by listening to the TS chat I was able to take bits & pieces of information & use it. My car in Race 1 was not too bad but still not very stable through the tighter sections & so I was constantly driving the thing on a knife edge, using the throttle for balance.
I had a great start in Race 1 but was boxed in by the cars around & so just tried to maintained my position. Coming down the hill I just clipped the grass & the car took off into the grass, completely out of control. I knew there was a Seat in front & my only way off trying to avoid a crash was to nail it & hope I got across the turn without contact. As you can see by the video it was oh so close ... very lucky.

My race went ok but small mistakes kept pulling me down. Then at the same chicane I went across to the right, ending up on the edge of main straight. I reversed & joined back where I'd gone off & received a Stop/Go for cutting the track. All was lost so it was a case of trying to learn what I could from the Telemetry & see if I could make changes to help in Race2.

Made some changes & they seemed to make a difference as I was a lot stronger in Race 2. Still couldn't match the pace of the front guys but was reasonably consistent & was running in a pretty good position right up til the end until with a lap to go I stuffed up the esses and took to the air. Lost the position & finished there...

Good fun once again & I hope some of you guys will join us for the F1 fun races next weekend...

Steve
