Isn't the Saleen Cup in America just a one-make Saleen GT4 series? If I remember correctly that series was an excuse for Saleen to race their GT4 car because atm it doesn't meet homologation requirements.

Loved the S7 but that stupid pushrod engine in the back is what killed it. What kind of power is this one running? If they run high horsepower instead of all low-end torque like the S7, they might have something. The S7 was very cool though...

Must be Saleen's take on the Ford Ecoboost, their 2.2L Turbo InLine 4 with 450~HP

Oh they did kill alright. It was one of the few cars that could beat the C5-R back on the ALMS days.
