thanks for the set ups everyone, cant wait to try them out. i emailed all 6 set ups to my phone. its easy then to put them into the game.

will post my best times and how i get on with each set up as soon as i get a chance to try them all.

Hello everybody ! I got a good time for career mode I think for the Virgin so very low end and slow as a slug but managed 2nd in career race from a 9th in Q3 (had 7th in Q1, dont know what happened lol ) all settings maxed out i.e difficulty ! I used a 360 cntrl on PC.

I know this isn't a set up .... BUT .... the advice might help some one.

I'm 9th with a 1.47.434 and if I strung together a perfect lap could be contending for the top spots with a 1.46.xxx

I use the far right Engineer set up, the lowest down force, Xbox 360, M$ Wheel, cockpit view, no assists. The engineer set ups really are ok ;)
 
I'm using ramon van rijn setup, little modified but i'm having some trouble maybe because of my driving style, i use to be aggressive on the kerbs and this setup semm to be too stiff, some suggestion ? :)

I used sam peacock's setup and drove an 1:49.8xx, but if I want to beat my laptime I cant even get close to my ghost.
I always press restart if I get an invalid lap. Somehow I cant keep up with my ghost anymore. The first straight I had a max of 305kph or something, if I use the same setup right now I can get a max of 300kph. How is this possible?
 
As I noticed the start of the flying lap is not too good. 'Cos the driving of the computer is not the best. You will arrive with a slower speed. It's so much better if you finish the lap and go with full throttle. This repair your time!

Yea thats true Zev.

But on the straight my max with the ghost was 305, now I drove several laps to get a faster start (the ghost lap was restart lap, so slower start wich is true because I'm on first place when I come over start/finish) and I still can't get over the 300kph even if i'm driving on a straight for a few sec's before I got to breake.

Serieusly I don't get it haha. Same setup, different max speeds :confused:
 
thanks for the tunes guys. inertia and others. still studying car setups and things. i can race just not so gud on setups at mo. lol. i have a 1.19.9 on istanbul at mo and think theres a 1.19.7 in there, lost some time in last two corners. bit wide, changed gear too early. im sure other guys here can beat it with little practice but im pretty happy with time. only been racing for 1 year. still a lot to learn. if i get any setups i'll post em straight to this site. happy racing.
