**Time Trial Setup** - Full Traction, ABS Brakes, Auto Gears, Xbox Controller (PC)

I hate this track. I ended up doing over 200 laps with countless setups. Took hours to make breakthroughs as it's so harsh in the second sector. Too easy to slip off and get DQ'd. Wanted to break into the 1:30s, but my hands hurt so it's time for a rest. If you can manage it, the car can get plenty more acceleration, but it comes at the cost of turn-in which is often crucial. Turns 5-10 are the devils minions. Looking forward to the fun circuits. Turn down the Camber, Anti Roll Bars, and Brake Pressure (not too much though!) for a race with tyre/brake wear.

You racing mates, my 2nd career setup - trying to get a full Haas series here for the whole season and all tracks. Bahrain is a nice track with two long and two medium-long straights but also sharp turns and bounces. Aero and good traction very important here. Tyre wear seems to be a bit higher than in Melbourne but my data from FP1 and FP2 shows that degradation should be very good for 100% race.
Lap data so far:
on Medium average around 1:38.3
on Soft average around 1:37.4

All stints started with 25 laps fuel.

It was a decent lap. I practice just a bit and then tweaked the Setup a bit.

This setup was my base setup for my McLaren Pro Career but the settings works like charm in bahrain. Due to the high spring values the car is very stable also when you lower the wings, which is crucial in bahrain for more topspeed

Keys to this setup: Brake balance should be 60% going into T1. Change to 56% for T4. Depending on your driver level, you can go down to 54% after T4 or before the 9/10 complex; helps you trail-brake through 5-6 and hold a fast line but can lead to instability in the T8 braking zone. Return to 56% after T13. These changes help you to rotate the car under braking appropriately for the corners, as Bahrain really only has 2 "traditional" straight braking zones where trail-braking is minimal, T1 and T8.

*Race Setup* - My last race on the Expert setting. This race was fun as I had the pace to stay with the Mercs at the start and I managed to pass Lewis before he could get going down the road.

I spent most of the race in first, but a long last stint had me all over the road defending first place from three other drivers.. I crashed in to Rosberg on purpose on the start-finish straight to defend my place, but Vettel flew past us both and I came home in 2nd.
