I'll be honest and say i simply pulled out. To be fair i think i did more than most would have in my position.

I pulled out after 28 laps and was in 6th place!! Problem was, this was last spot, i was already 2 laps down on 5th spot, had just served 2 stop and go penalties in as many laps for outrageous marshall calls and was in the middle of my second pitstop to repair the car when i simply thought ... what do i have to gain by keep going on. I'd had my run in the Lister & i wasn't getting any faster. Oh and i had 160L of fuel in the car after the first stop and couldn't work out how to reduce that in race.

Qualified 9th.

Reserve Procedure

From this event you must now join before 20.00GMT, otherwise your spot will be given to any reserves on the list. Remember joining at the start of practice and returning later in practice is fine. Joining after this time is not allowed.

This rule is a bit unfair for those who can't attend before 20.00.
If someone says that will be there, it doesn't matter if will be when the event starts or 1 minute before qualify ends. Since the person who commits
to attend, honour it.
I do believe it is more important to see the cases of people quit because a spinning and try to modify the mentality of: opsss i can't win or get a podium now, so i quit.

Since the event isn't likely to have many reserves anyway (if any) I don't thinkit should be a problem. Qualifying will be open too

Haha, yes it was a very impressive save Cam. I was worried you were going to lose it and come cutting across the track to be honest, well played. I honestly didn't even know you got bounced off the track at the time, it seemed like a door-to-door impact and I figured you were still right there next to me.

William - I just used Fraps to record the video and then I have a freeware utility that I used to convert to xvid (shrink file size 100x). I don't remember the name of the utility, I'll check when I get home from work.

Unfortunately I can't make this one, because I have a champ race this tuesday at Nordschleife! The green hell!!!
