Race Points

Not only did John-Eric Saxen deliver a strong performance as a WC driver for his Faster Than Speed team, he also showed his driver selection skills to become the second round winner of the 2012 FSR Fantasy League! With his team born2win, consisting of hatrick-man Bono Huis plus Jaakko Mikkonen, Petar Brljak and himself, he scored 99 points, outscoring Fred Gosling (95 points) and David Whitehouse (93 points) in 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

In the quest for the championship and the Thrustmaster T-Wireless 3 in 1 Rumble Force Gamepad, however, Simon Adebisi still leads with 181 points, ahead of Fred Gosling (174 points) and Nicolas Gschwind (173 points). Round winner John-Eric Saxen is in 6th place with 155 points after placing only 22nd in the opening round.

John-Eric is the second manager to earn a chance to win the Thrustmaster Dual Trigger 3 in 1 Rumble Force Gamepad at the end of the season, joining first round winner Simon Adebisi.

Bono Huis scored a hattrick in Canada, achieving the race win, pole position and the fastest lap of the race. He was by far the top scoring driver of the round with 52 points. Ironically, round winner Saxen was the one who prevented him from scoring more, as he led one race lap, being the only other driver to do so, not allowing Huis to earn points for a Grand Slam performance. Fredrik Nilsson followed with 31 points while Raino Room, making his first podium appearance, scored 25 points for the managers who selected him. Only two drivers went into the negative side of the scale due to post-race penalties: Marcel van der Linden (-1) and Giuseppe Marconi (-2).

Drivers' market costs were updated. Raino Room (+600$), Jaakko Mikkonen (+400$) and John-Eric Saxen (+200$) were the drivers who climbed the costs ladder the most. Remember that the drivers that you already have on your team will continue to cost you what they did when you included them on your lineup.

If you are proud of your result on the second round of the FSR Fantasy League, remember you can share your achievements with your Facebook friends by pressing the Facebook icons in your My Team page!

The third round of the FSR Fantasy League will be the British GP on June 17th. Remember to perform the driver transfers and swaps you need to become the next round winner!

Feel free to discuss your performance in the round in this thread. Do you think you have picked the right drivers for your team? Any regrets on your lineup?
