I think most agree that he is a quick driver, but as we know, it's not all about raw speed .

He has made horrible mistakes this season, but IMO he was arguably worse in his debut season. His debut season was not even a full one so not sure if that counts as a debut proper.

I think he will grow out of this phase of unsophisticated driving and become one of the best drivers in F1. I think it might even show as soon as 2013 if he retains his seat. (That was a bold statement).

Other drivers are quick like Maldonado, dependable like Kovalainen, basic like Rosberg, but Grosjean has that thing somewhere inside him. He needs coaching and he will be! He will be!

I think it's the right decision. He will come good as soon as all the pressure fades away and he can race normally.

Right now like Maldonado, if he puts wheel in the wrong place even slightly, he'll be in trouble.

We knew how much pace Romain has and his move on Lewis in Valencia was Brave shows he can do Better but as Martin Brundle said in Close combats with More than one Driver he was getting tensed and that was the reason for the first corner clashes.

All the ridicule being heaved on Grosjean is vastly exaggerated. Most of his first-lap collisions were at least as much the other driver's fault as his. The shunt at Spa was also just a small mistake, which, due to really bad luck, had large consequences. Other drivers do the same thing all the time and nothing happens.
He just needs to keep going, he's clearly quite capable.

so as someonelse pointed out already ,he needs to calm down ,relax,smile that brilliant smile less often and be more precise, consistent and focused

Hehe..... that brilliant smile will make even a rock melt,but it didnt help his concentration and his surroundings awareness too much in 2012 ,but the guy is very talented and no doubt he'll rebound in a huge way next year..Kimi needs to keep at least one eye open for him..lol

Don't get me wrong, he's no Kimi, but he's no Petrov either. He has a few podiums to his name, and this is only his second full year in F1.

Drivers like him need time to settle into F1, especially with the testing bans as they've been lately. And he's not doing too bad already.
