I don't think 7zip works with rar files. I may be wrong though. Winrar works with most types compression types of file.

... but Road America 1.5 is a zip-file

It's was actually saved as a rar file, I changed the designation of the file to zip.

Extract the files in the 'Packages' folder and then open rFactor 2's launcher, then hit the 'Content' icon on the left.
There you will see the mod listed. Now select it and hit 'Install'. Once done, hit 'Delete' to delete the mod from
the 'Packages' folder to save space if you want. But, before deleting it, in case you want to keep this mod, copy it
to somewhere else, or keep the zip file.

Highlandwalker updated Road America with a new update entry:

Road America 1.7 (Reduced the brightness of the trees).

This is a small update, toned down the brightness of the trees. Save your old version just in case you don't like the new version. I personally think it looks better.

Road America 1.78 (trees sharpened, grass darkened and gravel darkened.)
