rFactor shuts down?

Hi everyone.

After too long of looking at screenshots and videos of rFactor, i finally got my new computer and now i can run rFactor.

I downloaded the Lite version of rFactor, since i have a download limit.

Before installing any mods, i decided to just quickly give it a test run with the stock rFactor car at Toban. However when i try to load the track, rFactor shuts down.

Is it because i havent installed any of the car sound and track packs from here?

Im runnning Vista 64 bit.

Help will be much appreciated.

Danny have you installed DX9 and then tick Vsync on and remove the windowed tick.

One more question ....do you have a key for the copy you are using because i had the same problem a few years ago but for the hell of i cant remeber what the bloody problem was.it may even be that the track you are loading is not installed.ANd i think its prolly the latter

Something else we found was in the setting make you oponent detail medium

Hi, yes i do have DX9.

But im sure the track is installed, because it's one of the default tracks. I also installed a mod track and still no luck.
