I got unable to connect to server ingame. When i minimize Motocadd to the taskbar and i launch rfactor it disappears out of my taskbar.

Connexion it's ok, but see previous post (edited).

I have to know :
- Green LED status.
- rfactor.exe version (original or not ?)
- antiviruse / IP (?)
- Admin rights ?
[EDIT](for all users): launch "rF Config.exe" and set DX9 (not DX7 or 8 ...)

No it doesn't find my Local Racer Name on the server.

I am using a no-cd, so it won't work anyway, I lost my F1 dvd etc while moving house a year or so ago

Yes :/ no-cd.exe is very very different in RAM. MotecAdd understand nothing ^^

I will have to try and get a new DVD from somewhere. Pain in the ass paying for something twice. One advantage Steam has.

that is simple to solve:
- You forgot to click on the button “click to start the server”
- or your anti-virus blocks the communication
- or you must edit the file rfactor-motecadd-dx.INI to put the IP of your PC at the place of “localhost”

It is the same thing as for GTRE-DX.

Also like Ivo said the server is not staying in the taskbar, as if it is shutdown when rfactor is started.

It is the same thing as for GTRE-DX.

I have been clicking start server, anti virus not running and it has been allowed through firewall.

disappears ? wow, crash ?

Please send bug_report.txt by email (you find it in install directory of the server AND rfactor for the DX)

I just tried looking for it running in task manager but after starting rfactor motecadd is shutdown, every time.

Thx, but your bug-report display a direct crash (10s), not when you start rfactor :/
Please delete bug-report.txt now, and next time attach the txt file because copy/paste destroyed the tabulations and spaces, I cannot read well :o ^^

Even if i wait a 1 minute it still only crashes when i start rFactor.
